Quinta do Cardo is one of the leading estates in Beira Interior, in the northeast of Portugal, where all vineyards are farmed organically across a high-altitude plateau to retain freshness and structure.
The Superior Organic Red 2021 comes from the estate’s higher parcels and is a step up from the Cardo range in both depth and control. Made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Alicante Bouschet, it shows darker fruit, gentle spice and a firm, structured finish, with freshness keeping everything in balance.
A more serious Portuguese red, with enough weight to pair with richer food, but still defined by clarity rather than heaviness.
