Mauro 2022 is a benchmark red from Castilla y León made by Bodegas Mauro, founded by Mariano García.
Produced primarily from Tempranillo with a small proportion of Syrah, it is aged for around 16 months in French and American oak, balancing richness with structure.
Expect ripe black fruit, plum and blackberry layered with spice, tobacco and subtle oak. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with smooth, juicy tannins and a fresh, persistent finish.
Richer and more expressive than cooler vintages, the 2022 shows depth and concentration while retaining balance and energy.
