Cardo Organic Rosé 2023 is a dry, pale Portuguese rosé from Quinta do Cardo, one of the leading estates in Beira Interior.
The first vines were planted in 1932, and today the estate farms 79 hectares of certified organic vineyards on a high plateau near Castelo Rodrigo.
A more considered style of rosé that works beyond the usual aperitif role.
Made from Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, this organic wine is pale and precise, with clean red fruit, fresh acidity and a subtle mineral edge. It follows a Provence-style approach, but with more structure than most wines at this price — making it as effective with food as it is on its own.
