Quinta do Cardo is one of the leading estates in Beira Interior, in the northeast of Portugal, where all vineyards are farmed organically across a high-altitude plateau to retain freshness and structure.
The Reserva 2021 is a step up in depth and composition, sourced from older vines and more structured parcels. Made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Alicante Bouschet and Tinta Roriz, it shows darker fruit, cedar and spice, with firmer tannins and a longer, more controlled finish.
More composed and layered than the estate’s entry wines, this is a proper Reserva in style, built around structure and balance rather than weight, and with the capacity to develop over time.
