Cardo Organic White 2022 is the entry to Quinta do Cardo, one of the leading estates in Beira Interior.
Planted in 1932 and now fully organic, the vineyards sit on a high plateau near Castelo Rodrigo, where cooler conditions help retain acidity and precision.
A well-made Portuguese Chablis style white with a more restrained, mineral style than most wines at this price, equally suited to food or drinking on its own.
Made from Síria, it is built around freshness and definition rather than weight. Citrus and orchard fruit sit over a firm mineral core, with clean acidity giving the wine shape and length.
